" Special's Surprise"
Review By: Lyndon Combs
This is the second part of my review of the little BC Special Mini
Revolver, and I am pleasantly surprised with the results of the tests on the accuracy of this little revolver.
This is a up close personal weapon, and it performed surprisingly
well in those conditions. When shooting this pistol I tried several various positions, holds, rapid fire, and careful slow aim. All taken with three to five yard in distance, and Each time the BC Special gave great results far beyond what I expected the little gun to do, in fact with the careful slow shots at three yards literally putting the bullets within the same hole. That is what you will see in the picture, and these are typical conditions for a gun of this type design except in self defense situations you would more than likely will not be taking slow careful aim so in real time practice I would learn to point, and shoot within point blank range. The use of body silhouette targets are strongly recommended so as to fully understand how you are doing as to hitting critical areas on the target.
One thing I would practice with this gun is acquiring a good hold on
the gun in a tight situation especially if you have large hands. I would also recommend that you be careful not to get in the way of the cylinder rotating. This is an excellent little pocket gun, and even a shirt pocket gun. |
